Purple Brocade Crossbody Bucket Bag

Adorned with a meandering, hand-stitched, navy blue soutache ivy and scattered with three-dimensional teal felt leaves, this botanical purse feels witchy and medieval. It's practical, with its 51" crossbody strap, elastic opening, and magnetic closure, but with just enough gothic fairytale whimsy. The color scheme is dark and moody with the navy and teal vines subtly contrasting the purple, olive green, and magenta brocades. Each patchwork panel breaks off at the top to form a point, so that they're splayed out around opening of the bag, like a bouquet of palms and ferns radiating from the mouth of a vase. The black and tan checked cotton lining peaks out from within the spikes and adds a geometric contrast to the flowy and organic line of the appliqué, while also evoking the image of an old stone wall on which the ivy has been growing for centuries.
