The Crown Pattern

This crown is such a fun, infinitely-customizable project that's perfect for your Halloween costumes, Mardi Gras looks, Renaissance Faire garb, and much, much more. I've been making these hats for four years now, and I'm thrilled to share all my trade secrets with you.
The finished crown has a diameter of around 22", but it's very adjustable due to the elastic in the back. It's 12" tall.
Pattern printing instructions:
Print the file on any home printer at 100% scale, and verify that it printed correctly by measuring the 2”x2” test square. Tape the sheets of paper together using the registration marks to align them properly. See the diagram on the first page of the instruction booklet to figure out which pages connect to which. Cut out all the pattern pieces.
Tools and Supplies:
-1 yoga mat, ¼” thick
-In total, you’ll need about a yard of fabric, but you will probably wish to use several different fabrics for a patchwork look, and you might like to use cheaper or uglier fabrics for the facings. Woven fabrics are best for almost all elements on this project, but I think felt or fleece can be nice and easy appliqué material. Read the instructions fully before cutting into your fabric because some steps need to be completed beforehand
